2017 Holiday Catalog LIVE Now!

It's here!  It's here!  I'm UBER excited to share Stampin' Up!'s NEW 2017 Holiday Catalog!  Last year, I loved pretty much everything there is to love about the Holiday Catalog, but this year...oh this year, I DO love everything in the Holiday Catalog!!!

I really feel like it's super early to start thinking about Christmas (I know, I'm weird) and since I LOVE Fall, I just can't skip over it.

So where are the Pumpkin Spice Lattes, already!?  I got coffee from Starbucks today and they still don't have it yet!  Ahh!!  So, I settled for a Hazlenut Latte, instead.  (The struggle is real, my friends.)

Well, since I didn't get my Pumpkin Spice Latte, I'm writing about a fall card I created a little while ago honoring my Pumpkin Spice Lattes.  (Those of you who follow me on Instagram, you may have already seen it!)

For those who don't, here's what it looks like:

Let's make this cute little Gem!

Supply List:

Paper Dimensions:
  • Pear Pizzazz Cardstock (4-1/2" x 3")
  • Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper (4-3/8" x 2-7/8")
    • I also fussy-cut a pumpkin from the DSP
  • Crumb Cake Cardstock (3" x 1")
    • Plus a scrap large enough to stamp and cut out the Coffee Cup
  • Scrap of Early Espresso Cardstock large enough to stamp and cut out the Coffee Lid
  • Scrap of Whisper White Cardstock large enough to diecut out the Coffee Cup Sleeve
  • Scrap of Pumpkin Pie Cardstock large enough to diecut out the largest Stitched Oval
Directions:
  • We'll start by folding over your Very Vanilla Notecard and adhering the Pear Pizzazz Cardstock to the front of your card base.  Aren't these notecards wonderful!?  I love them!  They are pre-scored, pre-cut and the set comes with envelopes!  This is utter perfection, in my book!
  • Now adhere down your cut piece of Painted Autumn DSP to the Pear Pizzazz Cardstock.  Your foundation is complete!
  • Stamp the "Hello Fall..." sentiment (from the Merry Cafe Photopolymer Stamp Set) onto the middle-ish of your Crumb Cake Cardstock banner piece in Early Espresso Ink.  Notch the right end with the Banner Triple Punch and then adhere it to the back of the center of the Pumpkin Pie Cardstock Oval you diecut out using your Stitched Shapes Framelits.
  • Using the Early Espresso Ink again, stamp the coffee lid and cup (again, from the Merry Cafe Photopolymer Stamp Set) onto the scraps of Early Espresso Cardstock and Crumb Cake Cardstock.  You can then assemble all of these pieces to diecut out (along with your Whisper White Cardstock) and run it through your Big Shot!  Time-Saver--Woot!!  (See my example below)
  • Assemble your Coffee Cup, adhere it to your Stitched Oval, affix that to your card foundation and then finish it off with your Fussy-Cut Pumpkin (and a Stampin' Dimensional!), a hint of Wink of Stella Glitter Brush on your Pumpkin, and a Faceted Gold Gem.
I can just smell the Pumpkin Spice in the air!!  Can't. Wait!

And if you want to see more of these lucsious goodies in the Holiday Catalog, email me and I'll mail you one for FREE!  Plus, check out my Instagram Feed and Facebook Page this week; I'll be posting a new project that features these goodies every day this week.

You can also click on the SHOP 24/7 page or just Click Here and browse the virtual catalog online, too!

See you soon!

Top 10 Tuesday: 12 Days of Christmas Movies

Well, so instead of a Top 10, I'm changing it to a Top 12!  Because I love The Twelve Days of Christmas and I love Christmas movies and why not combine both together to make it 12 Days of Christmas Movies!?  I suppose we each all have our own opinions as to what Christmas Movies are *must-haves* on our Watch List, but I would like to think there are some that just generally required, by public agreement.  So, here's my Top 12 Days of Christmas Movies List, complete with a FREE Printable so you can make this a Holiday Bucket List Item, if you'd like!  I'd love to hear if your favorite movie made the cut or not! OH---and one more thing---these movies are certainly not listed in an specific order, they are more in the order in which I may or may not have already watched them... (#SorryNotSorry!) 12.  The Santa Clause (1994) When this movie first came out, I was totally entranced by the interpretation of the North Pole, courtesy of Disney Magic, that I almost bel

Lent 2020: Day Two

Today's post is brought to you by...COFFEE.  I'm not going to lie, I really did consider giving up coffee for Lent, but when I mentioned it to one of my best friends, his response was "well, I'll see you in 40 days!"  I was kind of shocked at his lack of support, but then I read a post that was shared with me regarding Lent and some "food for thought" and one of the bullet points read "Don't give up coffee. Jesus will forgive you, but your family might not."  Well---I heard God loud and clear on that one.  Don't give up coffee.  And I'm so very glad I did not. See today, I had a TON of things to accomplish.  We're gearing up for a big weekend and I had quite the laundry list to do.  Not only was my laundry list (and my laundry basket) huge, but I didn't sleep well last night.  I had a very restless husband, so I put myself out on the couch.  Which wasn't terrible, but it wasn't exactly great, either.  So I already

Lent 2020: Days Nine-Thirteen

Hahah.  I am realllllllly good at sticking to my Daily Gratitude Posts.  {Insert Eye Roll Here}.  Well, I guess I can blame life, sicknesses, etc., but the reality is---I haven't been sticking to my Lenten Commitment of being Intentional.  But, let's forget the past and just start moving forward, right? Day Nine: Thursday was a rough day.  HJ was still sick-ish.  I started having the WORST sinus pressure.  I had a horrible headache.  I was out of ibuprofen for myself and I really didn't feel like going anywhere, despite the fact that I was beginning to get a little stir-crazy.  But, then I remembered how incredible Target Pick-Up is!  Just click, add to cart, checkout, boom.  Less than two hours later, I get a notification that my order is ready and I drive myself (and my sick kid) to a parking spot, GPS notifies Target of my arrival, and check---I have a bottle of ibuprofen and Advil Sinus meds in my hands and I'm back on my way home to my couch and snuggles withou
