Throwback Thursday: Word Play

If you're one of those lucky folks who own the "Word Play" Stamp Set by Stampin' Up!, then you are quite fortunate indeed!  I recently discovered this little gem of a set the other evening at my Best Friend's house when we got together to stamp!

I found myself needing to make a few Get Well cards, two were for men.  I, myself, had no appropriate stamp choices for these particular cards, so I asked if I could peruse through her stash.  I found the Word Play Stamp Set and saw that this beautiful collection had so many different sentiments and gorgeous font choices.  It was just perfect for what I needed to use it for!

Here is a look at those sentiments and fonts:

Aren't they gorgeous!?  Of course, this set is now retired and it's going for a pretty penny online through eBay and other pre-owned sources.  BUT, if you already own it, then feast your eyes on what I made with our current product that features a couple of these sentiments!  You'll also get to see a Sneak Preview of some of the wonderful goodies that will be available September 1st in our Holiday Catalog!  Eeek!  How exciting!

Okay...no more talk!  Let's get to the cards!

This card features:

This card used a couple different retired elements.  I used a bit of sheer Cucumber Crush ribbon that has been hoarded for a while (are you like that, ever???)  Here's what I used:

Lastly, this card showcases another NEW product that will be in our Holiday Catalog!  Here's what was used:

If you have this set, break it out and pair it with some of our current product!  It's wonderful!!!  I think I may have to pay the little extra and get it for myself!  ;)

Until next time, Friends!

Tutorial Tuesday: Strawberry Pie

I am a little bit sad that Sale-A-Bration 2018 is coming to a close this month.  Stampin' Up! has had some amazing products to give away this year and I have seen some really creative uses for extending their life! Erica Cerwin of Pink Buckaroo Designs is no exception!  I saw her use the  Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder  and make a pie card!  It was so stinking cute, that I just had to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) it and share my interpretation with my Papercrafting Passionista Friends!  PS: The Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder is a FREE Sale-A-Bration item!!!  So you can get this adorable embossing folder with a $100 purchase (it's a part of the Blossoming Basket Bundle, which is a $100 Reward) and  the embossing folder is carrying over to the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog!  So you'll be a step ahead of the new products!  Wow! Here's what I used to make this sweet card: Supply List: Fruit Basket Bun

Top 10 Tuesday: 12 Days of Christmas Movies

Well, so instead of a Top 10, I'm changing it to a Top 12!  Because I love The Twelve Days of Christmas and I love Christmas movies and why not combine both together to make it 12 Days of Christmas Movies!?  I suppose we each all have our own opinions as to what Christmas Movies are *must-haves* on our Watch List, but I would like to think there are some that just generally required, by public agreement.  So, here's my Top 12 Days of Christmas Movies List, complete with a FREE Printable so you can make this a Holiday Bucket List Item, if you'd like!  I'd love to hear if your favorite movie made the cut or not! OH---and one more thing---these movies are certainly not listed in an specific order, they are more in the order in which I may or may not have already watched them... (#SorryNotSorry!) 12.  The Santa Clause (1994) When this movie first came out, I was totally entranced by the interpretation of the North Pole, courtesy of Disney Magic, that I almost bel

Tutorial Tuesday: Fold Over Gift Box

Happy Tuesday, Everyone!  I hope that your week is going well!  Can you believe that August is half-way over??  I have seen lots of Social Media posts about kids already going back to school; the kids in my area go back next week!  Eek!  I imagine that means that there's a lot of last minute shopping, meal-planning, and organization happening for many households.  (Or all households, really.  I mean, everyone has shopping, meal-planning, and organization to do!) Well, I'd like to share with you a quick and easy 3D project that you may be able to utilize for this busy Back-to-School Rush!  I shared it with a group of ladies a couple weeks ago at a Crop Event and it was huge hit! This multi-purpose Gift Box is super versatile!  You can use it if you want to present your kiddo's new teacher with a little summin'-summin' to start the year off, as a special way to present a home-baked cookie treat to a loved one in their lunchbox, or if you need a vessel to hold some
