Simple Saturday: Mini Notecard Trio

I'm gearing up for an event I'm co-hosting on today and I needed to come up with a simple notecard set for a Make & Take we're creating. Needless to say, since it was a challenge, I procrastinated.  A bit.  I mean---simple---it's so hard!  I scoured Pinterest and looked to other demonstrators for help and I finally created a very quick and simple notecard trio.  (Whew, just in time!) I used just one color (Cherry Cobbler) and a bit of Whisper White Cardstock and my set was complete.  You can easily make this trio of cards yourself with very minimal supplies and about five minutes!  How's that for simple!?  :) Do you have 10 minutes?  Then go ahead and make the little wood crate to store the notecards in!  Or not, take the extra five and enjoy a glass a wine! Cheers! Here's the supplies to make this Simple Saturday Creation: Wood Words Clear Stamp Set #143928 Cherry Cobbler Cardstock #119685 Whisper White Cardstock #100730 Classic St

Throwback Thursday: 80 Years Young

It's Throwback Thursday and I'm going to take an old, "throwback" (retired) set and show you how you can continue to use and enjoy it with some new goodies! There's a lady at our church who is going to be turning 80 years young on August 3rd.  So our congregation is throwing a Card Shower in her honor!  You know that Yours Truly is really excited about that!  Hehe! One of my very favorite "throwback" items is the beautiful hydrangea die-cuts from the now retired Thoughtful Branches  bundle from last year.  This bundle was so super popular and was only available for a limited time!  If you're one of the lucky ones to have snagged it---then it's probably one of your very favorites, too! I decided to marry this hydrangea with some new products to breathe some fresh life into it and use it for this young lady's birthday card.  Check it out: It's simple, bright, cheery, and it showcases her 80th Milestone quite prominently (using t

Tutorial Tuesday: Make a Cupcake!

Friends, I've made a big decision!  I've decided to make more consistent Blog Posts with better content just for you!  We're going to have themed days (Tutorial Tuesday, Transformation Thursday, and Simple Saturday) with only one longer tutorial post (Tutorial Tuesday---so today is the day!) and I'll throw in a few "surprise" posts here and there throughout the month.  This should make my blog a bit more engaging, interactive, and easier to digest!   Please let me know what you think and I will continue to evolve and change so I can be the best for you!!! Okay, let's get started with Tutorial Tuesday !   It's no surprise now how very much I love my Coffee Break Bundle.  And if you own it, you probably have tons of fun making coffee cups, too!   But I struggled with how to use it on a birthday card.  Do you have that problem, too?  Well, one day, I magically saw a cupcake wrapper when I was die-cutting a coffee sleeve.  And then it hit me!

Something BIG is happening starting NOW!

Happy July, Crafty Friends!  It's the beginning of a NEW month---and Stampin' Up! has brought back their BONUS DAYS!  (Cue Cheers & Applause!) Last year, Bonus Days were so wildly successful, that they decided to bring them back this year and I am so excited to share that with you!  Here's how it works:  Every $50 you spend July 1-31, you earn a $5 Bonus Coupon to be redeemed on anything  during the month of August!  Wow! Bonus Days Oh!  And here's the best part: there is no limit to the number of Bonus Coupons you can earn and  you still qualify for Stampin' Rewards, if applicable!   Double Wow! Excitedly enough, one of my favorite stamp sets and matching Framelit dies (when purchased together) is $60!  That's enough to earn you a $5 Bonus Coupon for August!  What set is this, you may ask?  Why, it's the Jar of Love Stamp Set  and the matching Everyday Jars Framelits Dies . This stamp set is simply gorgeous!  And it's so versatile!  (S
