Tutorial Tuesday: Quick & Easy Thanks

There's nothing sadder to me than the winding down of Sale-A-Bration.  There were so many  gorgeous items to choose from this year!  I got all of my favorites---and there are still a few more days to get yours!  Stampin' Up! spiced things up by giving everyone new, fresh choices throughout the Sale-A-Bration Period and my absolute favorite thing this year was the Springtime Foils Designer Series Paper .  It stands alone so wonderfully on its own and the thickness, texture, and shinyness of the foil is beyond belief!  (Seriously, people, if you haven't placed your order during Sale-A-Bration yet, then this  is why you need to!) The other thing I love about this Designer Series Paper is that you don't need anything else but it to make a beautiful card.  Take a look at today's Tutorial Tuesday  creation: Other than one stamped sentiment and a touch of extra "bling" with my Mini Sequin Trim , this DSP does all the work!  Here's what you need: Su

Transformation Tuesday: Lavender Grapes

Sale-A-Bration is winding down with only 11 more days to go!  Be sure to get your orders in to snatch up the plethora of goodies that will be saying good-bye to us in less than two weeks!  (Don't forget to use Hostess Code : 9NUQR2XV so you get an extra free gift from me, if your order is under $150!) Okay, so with that being said, on today's Transformation Tuesday , I want to share with you how I made some simplistic "thank-you's" for my friends who placed wine orders when I hosted a Traveling Vineyard Wine Tasting .  I used the Lots of Lavender Photopolymer Stamp Set  (which is a FREE Sale-A-Bration Item!) and turned it into a bunch of hanging grapes (to fit with my wine theme).   I layered the stamped image onto some Wood Texture Designer Series Paper  and wrapped a tiny bit of Linen Thread  around the foreground.  So super easy, but it does look like a bunch of grapes just perfect for the picking and turning into one of my favorite beverages!  Ha!

Simple Saturday: Lipstick Thanks

I think now is as good of time as any to announce I have taken on yet another venture---Senegence!  I recently became a Senegence Distributor because, well, I am obsessed  with their LipSense product!  I wanted all of the colors and so, I joined.  I'm really excited to be on this new journey and I won't forget about my first love, Papercrafting!  So, have no fear---I will still be here on our crafty adventures and my hope is to eventually mesh the two together! For more information, check out my Facebook Page called Sparkle & Fizz and you'll get to know a lot more about what my mission is with Senegence and how I encourage others to Be The Sparkle. Now, onto Simple Saturday... I needed to create some quick and easy thank-you's to send to Hostesses, customers, and the like.  So, here's something that I came up with: I found an old Stampin' Up! Stamp Set called Making A Point , and while it's retired, it is perfect for my new venture! I colo

Throwback Tuesday: Eat Cake!

I'm continuing on working on the myriad of birthday cards I need to make this month and this particular card was great to make for two reasons: 1) I got to use my Stampin' Blends (my absolute favorite  coloring medium!) and 2) I got to color in adorable cakes from the retired Birthday Bakery   Stamp Set !  I was so excited to see the drab black and white image (albeit, it was still super cute) transform into a gorgeous shading of pinks, berries, and grey.  Seriously, take a look! I think those cakes look good enough to eat!  And pairing them with the "Eat Cake" sentiment from the Big on Birthdays Stamp Set  was just perfect.  My color inspiration, naturally, came from the Painted With Love Specialty Designer Series Paper , which I felt worked really nicely with this entire card.  If you own this set, please , I urge you to get it back out and color it in with our Stampin' Blends!  I felt like they just made these cakes come alive!  If you want to re-create

Simple Saturday: "Two-Tu" Cute!

March is the start of many birthdays for the rest of the year!  And I had better get busy if I'm planning on getting cards done and ready to go!  My friend's daugther turns two this year and she is celebrating with a "Two-Tu" Cute party!  As soon as I saw the invites for her birthday party, I was inspired to try making a tutu card using our Daisy Punch !  It worked quite nicely, I think!  Give it a peek and see what you think... I lined the top with the smallest Rhinestone Basic Jewels  to give it a "waistband" feel.  And while the photo makes it hard to see, I brushed a little bit of Wink of Stella Glitter  onto the petals (or tutu part) to make it sparkle just a bit more. The best part is that since this card is so simple, a larger birthday sentiment (taken from the Cool Treats Photopolymer Stamp Set ) was all I needed to finish the job. I am pleased with the simplicity and the cute factor for this card!  What do you think? Happy Saturday, Eve

Tutorial Tuesday: Strawberry Pie

I am a little bit sad that Sale-A-Bration 2018 is coming to a close this month.  Stampin' Up! has had some amazing products to give away this year and I have seen some really creative uses for extending their life! Erica Cerwin of Pink Buckaroo Designs is no exception!  I saw her use the  Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder  and make a pie card!  It was so stinking cute, that I just had to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) it and share my interpretation with my Papercrafting Passionista Friends!  PS: The Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder is a FREE Sale-A-Bration item!!!  So you can get this adorable embossing folder with a $100 purchase (it's a part of the Blossoming Basket Bundle, which is a $100 Reward) and  the embossing folder is carrying over to the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog!  So you'll be a step ahead of the new products!  Wow! Here's what I used to make this sweet card: Supply List: Fruit Basket Bun
