Throwback Tuesday: So many hearts!

There's this stamp set that has my heart...and it's retired.  I was fortunate enough to snag it from last year's Occasions Catalog and maybe you were to.  If you were---don't get rid of it!  Ever.  At least, I never will.  Not ever.  Seriously.

The stamp set is called Sealed with Love and it has coordinating Framelits (Love Notes).  This set goes so well with the trendy heart set that Stampin' Up! released in this year's Occasions Catalog, Sure Do Love You Stamp Set.  This set also has coordinating dies (Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies) that is available as a bundle option.  The trendy watercolor wash and larger heart shapes are awesome to pair with last year's set.  It goes together so beautifully and it makes my heart happy!  (Yes, I said it!)

Take a look at this simple valentine that I was able to make by combining these two sets and turning something that was more traditional (Sealed with Love Stamp Set) into something more trendy:

What do you think?  I love the lined hearts from the Sealed with Love Stamp Set.  I thought I'd use matching colors to pair with the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper and all the lines turned out trendy and perfect with the stamped sentiment and the little kisses (also from the Sealed with Love Stamp Set).

This sweet valentine has so many hearts for all the love it has to carry to its lucky recipient!  See more of the Sure Do Love You Bundle here and check out my Pinterest Board for more inspiration using this set.  If you'd love to have it (I did it again!) use Hostess Code NE2VZEQV at checkout for a FREE Gift from me!  Plus, if you spend $50 you also get a FREE Sale-A-Bration item, too!

Top 10 Tuesday: 12 Days of Christmas Movies

Well, so instead of a Top 10, I'm changing it to a Top 12!  Because I love The Twelve Days of Christmas and I love Christmas movies and why not combine both together to make it 12 Days of Christmas Movies!?  I suppose we each all have our own opinions as to what Christmas Movies are *must-haves* on our Watch List, but I would like to think there are some that just generally required, by public agreement.  So, here's my Top 12 Days of Christmas Movies List, complete with a FREE Printable so you can make this a Holiday Bucket List Item, if you'd like!  I'd love to hear if your favorite movie made the cut or not! OH---and one more thing---these movies are certainly not listed in an specific order, they are more in the order in which I may or may not have already watched them... (#SorryNotSorry!) 12.  The Santa Clause (1994) When this movie first came out, I was totally entranced by the interpretation of the North Pole, courtesy of Disney Magic, that I almost bel

Lent 2020: Day Two

Today's post is brought to you by...COFFEE.  I'm not going to lie, I really did consider giving up coffee for Lent, but when I mentioned it to one of my best friends, his response was "well, I'll see you in 40 days!"  I was kind of shocked at his lack of support, but then I read a post that was shared with me regarding Lent and some "food for thought" and one of the bullet points read "Don't give up coffee. Jesus will forgive you, but your family might not."  Well---I heard God loud and clear on that one.  Don't give up coffee.  And I'm so very glad I did not. See today, I had a TON of things to accomplish.  We're gearing up for a big weekend and I had quite the laundry list to do.  Not only was my laundry list (and my laundry basket) huge, but I didn't sleep well last night.  I had a very restless husband, so I put myself out on the couch.  Which wasn't terrible, but it wasn't exactly great, either.  So I already

Podcast Episode 4: Accountability

How many of you feel like you're on a never-ending hamster wheel, just running and running and running?  Do you blame the wheel for moving too fast or too slow?  Do you blame the cage for not having any space?  Or do you figure out that you need to stop, get off the wheel and get out of the cage to endless space? I think we all have those seasons in our lives where we easily blame the wheel or the cage.  And the difference between staying on the wheel and blaming it for staying on it and stopping, getting off and getting OUT is our ability to take accountability. Take a listen to this week's podcast and let me know if it inspires you to stop running on the wheel and instead, figure out how to stop, get off the wheel, and get out of the cage.
