These Party Pandas = Love!

Sale-A-Bration is in full swing, but this is the first time I had a chance to play with the Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set, Party Pandas.  This set is so cute and it is the most popular pick of Sale-A-Bration among the Papercrafting Passionista VIP's!  If you haven't seen it yet, check it out here in the Sale-A-Bration Catalog.

I can easily see why this set is so popular!  The whimsy of these adorable Pandas makes me want to jump up and down with glee!  I also love that black and white makes for a super stunning, simplistic, and clean looking project---even more yay for the Pandas!

Take a look at this cute card:

It could be used for a Valentine (note that I specifically colored in the heart on the middle panda for a hint of color) or a birthday card.  It could even just be for a whimsical little note card.  These pandas just work for everything!!!

Want to know how I made it?  Well, here you are, my Friend!  Read on...

Supply List:

Paper Dimensions:
  • Whisper White Cardstock (8-1/2" x 4-1/4"; scored at 5-1/2") + scrap for stamping
  • Basic Black (1-3/8" x 1-3/8") x 3 + scrap for a banner
Directions:
  • The first thing I did was stamp some pandas using the Memento Ink (Tuxedo Black) onto a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock.  I used the smallest square from the Stitched Shapes Framelits to die-cut out just the heads of the pandas I stamped.
  • I mounted the pandas onto the Basic Black Cardstock squares with a Stampin' Dimensional.
  • I stamped the "Just For You" sentiment from the Sure Do Love You Stamp Set onto the scrap piece of Basic Black Cardstock with the Craft Stampin' Ink (Whisper White) and notched the end with my Banner Triple Punch.
    • Helpful Hint: You can use any sentiment of your choosing from a Stamp Set you already own and you can notch the end with your Paper Snips if you don't have the Banner Triple Punch.
  • I then just adhered my squares and my banner onto the card and was done!
See?  Quick, simple, but quite eye-catching and adorable!  Be sure to get your Party Pandas by placing a $50+ order and use Hostess Code PH7VSUWK to get an extra free gift from me!

Happy February, Friends!

Tutorial Tuesday: Strawberry Pie

I am a little bit sad that Sale-A-Bration 2018 is coming to a close this month.  Stampin' Up! has had some amazing products to give away this year and I have seen some really creative uses for extending their life! Erica Cerwin of Pink Buckaroo Designs is no exception!  I saw her use the  Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder  and make a pie card!  It was so stinking cute, that I just had to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) it and share my interpretation with my Papercrafting Passionista Friends!  PS: The Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder is a FREE Sale-A-Bration item!!!  So you can get this adorable embossing folder with a $100 purchase (it's a part of the Blossoming Basket Bundle, which is a $100 Reward) and  the embossing folder is carrying over to the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog!  So you'll be a step ahead of the new products!  Wow! Here's what I used to make this sweet card: Supply List: Fruit Basket Bun

Tutorial Tuesday: VIA Coffee Holder

Are you following me on Pinterest yet??  If not, please do!  There's a bunch of amazing goodness there!  One of which, is an extremely popular pin---my VIA Coffee Holder. I enjoy trying new things and one day, while wondering the aisles of my local Target, I stumbled upon these new little packages of coffee, called "VIA".  It's by Starbucks and they are instant coffee singles.  Whhaaat!!?  Naturally, (because I'm a victim of marketing) I bought some.  Then I thought, These are so cute!  I want to do something with them and my Coffee Cafe Suite!   After that, my VIA Coffee Holder/Folder (whatever you want to call it) was born. I imagine you can see why this is not just my  most re-pinned pin, but it's pretty popular on Pinterest, in general.  Woot! Now, my friends, I will show you how to make your own with my Tutorial Tuesday! Supply List: Cardstock (I used Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz, and Crumb Cake for the samples above) Check out the Coffee

Tutorial Tuesday: Fold Over Gift Box

Happy Tuesday, Everyone!  I hope that your week is going well!  Can you believe that August is half-way over??  I have seen lots of Social Media posts about kids already going back to school; the kids in my area go back next week!  Eek!  I imagine that means that there's a lot of last minute shopping, meal-planning, and organization happening for many households.  (Or all households, really.  I mean, everyone has shopping, meal-planning, and organization to do!) Well, I'd like to share with you a quick and easy 3D project that you may be able to utilize for this busy Back-to-School Rush!  I shared it with a group of ladies a couple weeks ago at a Crop Event and it was huge hit! This multi-purpose Gift Box is super versatile!  You can use it if you want to present your kiddo's new teacher with a little summin'-summin' to start the year off, as a special way to present a home-baked cookie treat to a loved one in their lunchbox, or if you need a vessel to hold some
